Texas, Our Texas! all hail the mighty State!

We can finally "publicly" announce-

We have accepted a job in the great and wonderful state of Texas.

Rice University to be exact.

We have FOUR weeks to get there...(like I have been really good at blogging anyway) so you won't notice much of a difference on here.

We are excited and thrilled for this next step.

So...if you live in the Houston area- please please please contact me. We are working at getting a place to live and letting everything else fall into place. Woohoo-

**Also- if you want to live in Vegas...let us know. We might have a great deal on a super cute home...

It is great that you guys will be close to family. I love that about living here for our family. But you are going to be missed.

SO exciting for you guys! Maybe we'll get to see you more often now...well, considering we only go home once a year, maybe our summer trip will coincide with you being home! Happy for you and I'm sure your parents are thrilled!

Wow Samye!! Congrats to Dustin!! Too bad you didn't get the job over the summer or we could've been neighbors again! ;) We lived in Cypress and LOVED it!! It was a really nice area and the ward was great too. I have a fabulous friend from the ward that I'm still in touch with (she's a Houston native) and I know she'd be more than happy to answer any questions. Let me know if you'd like her number. Good Luck!!! :)

We have a few friends in Houston and we looked into moving out there. We highly suggest "sugarland"! Lots of mormons, nice, well-maintained and very family orientated!!

Sounds like you're excited! Glad you get to move back home-at least closer anyway :)

Wow! Well that's exciting but I'm bummed. Texas is forever away!! My brother and his wife lived in Houston for 2 years and you could totally chat with her. They still have lots of friends that live there. Glad everything is working out. Hugs!

Very exciting for you guys-esp. to be closer to your families. We miss you in B-town. Too bad we couldn't have gotten together more often. However; TX is on our radar and Adam applies for jobs in a year. :) Good luck in Texas! XO-Lisa
