Carving Pumpkins

We carved pumpkins for family home evening Monday and had some great helpers!

We gave Miles a small pumpkin to keep him entertained and it did the trick!

Halle put on her "pumpkin carving shirt" and went to work. She cleaned the entire thing out, then put the face that she wanted carved on it.
Bennett was not a fan of cleaning out his own pumpkin, it took him just about 5 years to clean it out. He then drew his own face on it...we think it looks surprisingly similiar to his own features.
What a fun way to light up the night...hopefully the pumpkins will last until Halloween!!
