Tired of looking at that gross picture? I am. This year Santa brought us a pluthera of games to play and we have been enjoying them. This fishing game was a blast- the kids got super competitive (and frustrated at the same time). Notice the concentration in their faces-
Miles even enjoyed game night too.

Dustin's late Christmas Present
Dustin thought he would visit the ER just one more time with this beautiful thing...
He dislocated EVERY JOINT while playing a little early morning ball this morning. Looks really gross right? Merry Christmas to us...hopefully we can stay out of the ER for a couple of days?

Christmas Day
What a wonderful Christmas day! It was so much fun relaxing and letting the kids go crazy with all of their new toys.
I had a blast spending yet another year with this great guy...he is such a stud!

Christmas Morning
Here are the kiddos enjoying Christmas morning in their Christmas jammies. They enjoyed opening all their presents- Bennett especially loved the drill he got...and continued to use it all day long to both open things and fix things (the cat, presents, the couch, the tree...) he is such a funny kid!

Christmas Eve
For Christmas eve we did the nativity play with the kiddos. My family does this every year, and since we are spending this year in Vegas we decided to try doing it on our own. This was VERY last minute so we really didn't have the best costumes...but we made do!! Here is our cute Mary and Joseph.
It was very short and sweet..and simple.

Early Christmas
I know I have been way behind in blogging...by the time I get around to blog I am so exhausted that I choose to catch up on my zzzz's!
Had to quickly share about my "early Christmas present" that I received last night. I was making dinner last night when all of a sudden I was in INCREDIBLE pain in my back. Far worse than childbirth... I lay on the ground for awhile until I finally decided action needed to be taken. I called the triage nurse and she told me to get to the ER- so after a quick blessing a wonderful friend came and picked me up and took me to the ER. After a cat scan we finally saw what was the trouble, I have a kidney stone stuck as it was trying to pass (no idea I even had a kidney stone) and it is far too big to pass on its own. They wanted me to stay the night in the hospital (which is really stressful seeing as I have a 5 week old at home who has never had a bottle). After blood work and some morphine they saw that my kidney function was still at 100% so they said I could go home as along as I made an appointment to see the urologist asap. After lots of prayers I woke up this morning to zero pain. Amazing blessing seeing as I can't even talk to my Dr. until Monday. Merry Christmas to me!!

Ward Christmas Party
We enjoyed going to our Ward Christmas party...the kids had fun especially Miles who was cuddled and held by "replacement" grandparents all night. This is the only picture we got of the whole night.
Notice the sword that Ms. Claus is handing out... we had a couple in the ward who just got off tour with Britney Spears and brought along all the toys that didn't sell through their concerts- anyway they gave the toys out to all the kids. Little Boys and Swords...enough said.

Dustin took the older kids golfing this week...although it was cold (yes it actually does get chilly here...high of like 40) they had a blast!

Bennett can draw
Guess what Bennett learned to draw on his Aquadoodle (if you don't have one of these for your kids... SO COOL!!)
If you can't tell it is Walle and Eva.

Festival of Lights
For family home evening we went and did the "festival of lights", it is a park that you can drive through and they have tons and tons of Christmas lights set up. The kids loved looking at all the lights and even more enjoyed the cookies that we brought! Miles just slept the whole time in the back...(nice).

Christmas Decorating
Putting up some Christmas decor...we have only had 2 ornament casualties so far (rough having a tile floor that is VERY unforgiving on ornaments!!). The kids love the lights and decor...and really love the idea of Santa! Such a magical time of year!

Building Men
I mentioned that Dustin, my dad and my brother put closets in while they were here over the break... I heard LOTS of hammering going on upstairs and went to go check it out. Bennett HAD to help, and felt so proud of himself.
I do luurrvvee my new closets... so perfect. The kids now has like 5X the amount of storage space it did (with shelves and everything) and ours works so much better... I will have to try and get pics up (you know in my spare time).

Such a cute guy!
He (unless he has a bubble) loves his carseat... I think this was the second time we put him in it (After the hospital) and he just snoozes forever!!

First Bath
Picture of Miles First Bath...he did NOT enjoy it. He now enjoys washing his hair, but still hates when his furry little body gets wet.
