I haven't been sleeping well lately, and today I took a 3 hour nap. Looks like I won't be going to sleep anytime soon. I figured I might update this a bit seeing as I haven't done anything in months.
Pictures aren't going to happen- I have to update my account and pay in order to put pictures up...I'm going to figure out a way around that one.
Anyway- life is continuing on. Samyehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17490844558645419634noreply@blogger.com8tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4199934042426170832.post-43498442953150435002012-09-23T22:16:00.001-05:002012-09-23T22:16:27.299-05:00Bennett' big day

Bennett LOVED opening presents-
and the legos were a huge hit.
The next morning he woke up bright and early for his first baseball game- He is really good at hitting the ball!!

I forgot to mention that my mother-in-law came in town to help with the birthday party and to celebrate with us too! It was so nice having her there!
We had so much fun with Grammy-
And then right after Grammy left on Sunday mid-day, we had my parents show up. Halle's birthday was on monday so she wanted a big party with grandma and grandpa peterson with homemade pizza, andSamyehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17490844558645419634noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4199934042426170832.post-4395218199644608842012-09-23T20:21:00.001-05:002012-09-23T20:21:29.335-05:00Halle's Birthday party
Halle wanted to enjoy the "nice" weather and have a fun water party outside. So, in the triple digit heat we had a water party! We had lots of fun games,
A cute little man-
A wicked swing at the pinata-
A pink ombre cake-
with lots of kids to eat it
ice cream didn't even stay on the plates because it was too hot
and or course lots of water slidesSamyehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17490844558645419634noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4199934042426170832.post-29185997220235439882012-09-23T20:11:00.001-05:002012-09-23T20:11:22.936-05:00San Antonio & Denton
Dustin went on his big trip this summer so we thought we would meet up with my parents in San Antonio and then go up to Denton together. The first day we went to Sea World....phew that was HOT! I think the kids had a blast...sorry no pics to show from it! The next day on our way out of town we stopped by the San Antonio temple- it is so pretty! It is set up on a hill so you can pretty much see Samyehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17490844558645419634noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4199934042426170832.post-12730524362445170342012-09-23T20:06:00.001-05:002012-09-23T20:06:14.689-05:00Halle's dance recital
Halle had a dance recital the end of May and it was so much fun to watch her perform- she learned so much this past year with Mrs. Tricia's dance class!!
We even had the opportunity to have my mother-in-law and sister-in-law in town for the recital!
The boys loved cheering her on- you can tell they totally adore her.
And of course, Daddy's little girl.

So we bought a house. Is that a valid excuse for the fact that I haven't done anything on this blog for almost two months? I should think so. We moved into our home over Memorial weekend- it was a HOT move with little help. (grumble) Saturday night of that same weekend we realized that our downstairs AC wasn't working. Nice. We finally got that fixed by that next Wednesday- it was 88 Samyehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17490844558645419634noreply@blogger.com7tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4199934042426170832.post-45665524366030290552012-04-29T21:12:00.000-05:002012-04-29T21:13:02.894-05:00Catch-up
It has been two weeks since my last post. Sadly the camera hasn't come out much but we have had some exciting changes in our family situation- 1. We celebrated Dustin's birthday. The kids were so excited and they thought really hard about what they wanted to get him. I didn't hint, didn't suggest- they came up with the presents all on their own. Halle got him a new razor and shaving cream,Samyehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17490844558645419634noreply@blogger.com11tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4199934042426170832.post-31795579204637869322012-04-15T21:37:00.000-05:002012-04-15T21:37:29.536-05:00Blessing DayWe blessed Rowe on Easter Sunday with all of our family! I just had to put this in- little fiesty red man.
Life has been so good with 4 children- a wee bit hectic and overwhelming. But these are the moments that I will want to remember-
You know how you go in and watch kids when they are sleeping because you seem to love them so much more when they are quiet??

Not sure what this picture was- but thought it was pretty comical.
Here is Alex holding Rowe- such a great aunt!

It was really cute how excited Halle was to hold him, and to talk to him- although disappointed that he really didn't do anything in return. Bennett, after much convincing, decided he could hold Rowe for about .5 seconds (notice how Rowe is about to fall off his lap).

For me all my kids have been pretty much the same. I go into the hospital, I might be having small contractions, they break my water, I get the epidural, a couple hours later I am dilated, couple pushes and boom a child appears.

My Dr. is being a little bit of a stink, she will only deliver babies on thursdays, so she really really wants to induce me. Both dustin and I (right now at least) say pshaw- I really want to go into labor on my own. Hopefully labor will happen this week as i am SO ready. This thing was super loose, and ready to pop out! She decided to try my method of loosing teeth and I tied a string around it, she gave it a gentle tug and the thing came flying out! She was so excited! If you look real close you can see the itty bitty tooth.
