Bubba

So many have been asking to see some recent pics of Bennett...and here you go!! This is all 17lbs of him...and there is a lot of him!! But here is the newest dilema- as you can see he is no longer fitting in his baby bath tub but doesn't feel really comfortable in the big bath tub with just me holding him because he is well, not secure. Any suggestions? I have seen like a foam pad that you can put in the tub but has anyone ever tried it?? I would love any suggestions!

Get the foam pad!! That is all we have ever used with Caleb and he loves it!! He is able to feel secure, and he has more room to where he can kick and splash (mommy ends up having a bath as well thanks to the splashing). Anyway, the foam pad works just so ya know. Plus they are pretty cheap.. like 8 bucks or something like that?

I highly suggest bath tub seats that suction cup to the bottom of the tub. Even if he doesn't sit up well you can use an old bath towel, by folding it and placing it behind him to help him. It has really helped my kids be happy in the tub and then he'll be able to share the tub with his sister!! Check it out at this website...

We don't have a bathtub at our current place of residence so we shower with Eliza. She loves it. It's a tricky task, but we have done it for a LONG time now... just a suggestion. He has such a handsome face. What a cute baby.

Emily likes to shower with Devin. I take a bath with her sometimes. Just some idea's. I decided to leave my hair alone for now!
Hope to see you at christmas!

We tried the foam pad for when we were visiting family... Eliza HATED it and would scream. But she was a little older when i finally tried it and could move around pretty well. I think you should try it though - he looks like a pretty content guy :) (It doesn't hurt to try one becuase they are so cheap... if it doesn't work then you can try something else)

What a little chunker! I love it! He is probably so loving and cuddly. Is he sitting up yet? I loved the bath seats that give them support all around. I got the one that hooks onto the edge of the tub to give you an arm rest too.

I decided after Beckham to "good will" a lot of baby gadgets, bathtub being one of them. It all just takes up so much storage space and is big and in the way, and doesn't make sense to move from house to house. My philosophy is to just let the kid cry for a few days about it and they will get used to it...

BUBBA gets it about right. I'm amazed at how calm he looks...you know, considering the fact that his naked bath tub pics are going out on the WORLD-WIDE WEB! J/K I can't wait to meet the (not so) little guy.

When Ike was born, I used the kitchen sink. And now that he's a tank I just lay him on the bathtub floor and pour water over with a big cup. I'm cheep and don't want to clean anything more than I have to - so I just lay him down and let him kick at the running water. Have you cut bangs yet? And drive very safe to Texas. Are you driving the distance by yourself??
