We went "tamping" (as Bennett calls it) this past weekend and it was beautiful!! We went up to Mt. Charleston and it was beautiful! It was the high of 72 during the day and it got down to the low 50's at night...a bit chilly for us Vegasites!
If I told you this was an oreo cookie would that make it better?
MIles LOVED rubbing his binkie in the dirt than sticking it in his mouth...we found him after he had done it a couple of times while we were setting up the tent.
Halle is full of personality- she couldn't wait to get into her tent to go to sleep. She was so super excited!! 
Bennett loves camping, especially because he gets to go potty outside...

How Fun! We attempted to go camping both Tuesday and Wednesday night for the first time as a family. Long story short we just ended up boating at the lake but not staying the night...(either night)... So We are really anxious to do it, and our kids are goin nutz about it... So.. it was so fun to see your family enjoy it. Uhh.. and that is the most crazy story about your drunk neighbor.. WHAT THE HECK!! Ohh I would have been so freaked out.... glad everyone was okay...
Boys are just so funny about dirt and peeing in the rocks aren't they! Looks like so much fun, Samye.

You are brave souls! I'm glad you had so much fun. By the way, thanks again for feeding us when we came through Vegas. It was wonderful to catch up with you two and to see the kids. Sorry we kept them up past bedtime! If it makes you feel better, ours were up late too and we ended up driving them around town to get them to sleep. Good times!
