My mother-in-law absolutly loves the fact that I have had more hair-dos than any one she has ever known over the past 4 years. AND of course here comes another one!! I went to get my hair done while in Provo, I was highly recommended to go see this hairdresser who works out of her home, and only charges $45 for a cut and color. WOW!! I pay $35 in Indiana at my old hairdresser just for a cut- so I thought this was a steal!! IF anyone is looking for a new hairdresser in Provo area let me know because she was great!! I also wanted to post some 30 week pics...10 weeks to go!! YEAH!!!

Strawberry Festival
Once again Utah has come to amaze us at the fun things it offers! We went to the Strawberry Day's festival in Pleasant Grove (which is about a 20 minute drive) for the parade that they were doing. We thought Halle would enjoy it and she LOVED every minute of it!! She enjoyed the fire trucks blaring their siren down the road, the horses that all the cowgirls/boys were riding, and especially the Princesses!! They had like Miss. Utah, and Miss. Pleasant Grove...etc.. and she thought they were from some magical world. The last picture is of her trying to get one final glimpse of a float before it turned the corner. It was hotter than Hades out there but we had a blast- we are getting great use of our pool here and are SO grateful we got one! We also realized that our time in Utah is coming to an end, we only have 5 more weeks until we head back to B-town...and are super excited to get back!! Once we get back, that also means we have 4 weeks until little dude is due!! We are super excited to have him joining our family!! Also- check out my new tickers down at the bottom of the page!! SUPER CUTE

HELP PLEASE!!
This is a "call out" for help. WE REALLY NEED IT!! To this day we are referring to the boy in my tummy as little dude. Names just haven't been clicking for us, and we haven't found one that we really really like. SO- please reply and give us any and all little boys names that you can think of. It has gotten to the point that when we go to the grocery store, I try listening to what other moms are yelling to figure out what their kids names are. So- let's here em!!! Just so you know we aren't total slackers the only names that I like (I haven't run some of these past the D-man yet) but, I like: Kyler, Devon, Mitchell, Scout, and Jack. But please give me more names!!!

Book for Boys
Sorry it has taken awhile for the next blog to come but, as you all know we were a bit busy traveling in Texas. We did have a good time we got to see all the family and friends that one could possibly dream of seeing!! Anyway- I have been wanting to talk about this book that I just got Dustin for Father's Day. IT IS GREAT!! It was the perfect gift for a dad-to-be of a little boy. This book is great (and thanks to Amazon not too expensive!!) It has all sorts of handy things that older guys might need refreshing on, or boys might someday want to learn!! It covers everything...a few topics are- Making a battery, Rules of Soccer, Baseball's Most Valuable Players, Making a Go-Cart, Skipping Stones...and the list goes on and on and on. It is a super cute book with all sorts of information. I would highly suggest it to anyone, more specifically for a husband from a wife. IT reminds them of all of their (I guess you could say) "duties" to teach their sons. This book was also recomended for the teenager but I think that might be a bit dangerous. Try it out!!

Granddad Passes On
On Friday night at 5:45 my Granddad, Frank Martino passed on from this life. He was in Africa on vacation with his wife Meme and their two sons and wives when this event started happening. All of his sons were able to go to Africa and see him before it happened-so I am greatful for that. We will be traveling to Texas this week for the viewing and funeral, and then Halle and I will be staying to play for a little bit with my mom!! Thanks for all your love and support.

Orem Summerfest
We had so much fun yesterday- we went to the Orem Summerfest. The best part is that they had a whole section of rides for toddlers! Halle got to ride the Carousel, the "Spinney Berry ride", the Alpine slides, and a roller coaster (all by herself on the coaster!!)! She had such a blast and was so exhausted by the time we got home. They have these kind of festivals all around Utah all summer so we are going to try and find them!!

GOOD!
Ok, so I am not really up to date with all the latest gossip etc..but I have been following this whole scandal where she got out of jail? Totally not fair, so I am glad to hear that as of today she is being put back in the court to decide what will happen. Personally I hope that she goes back to jail, and gets a cell mate with the name of Bertha (sorry if there are any Bertha's out there) who teaches this snotty rich girl a lesson or two. I am not a mean person but I mean for goodness sakes she violated the law and should pay the price what everyone else in the world has to do. And that is how I feel.

Early Father's Day
I just couldn't wait to show everyone these pics!! We got these day as a Father's Day present (surprise!!) for Dustin, my Dad and Dustin's Dad. (Once again....surprise!!) It was also a great excuse to get Halle's pictures done again, maybe even for the last time by herself. I liked the photographer a lot-she worked really well with Halle-so of course it was hard to narrow down which pictures I wanted to get. These aren't all the pics, but some of the ones that I liked the most.

Odd Things
I have realized that, yes, I am addicted to blogging. Not necessarily blogging about what I have been up to (as you can see as the last post was on Monday) but I LOVE reading about what all of my friends are up to! I enjoy the pictures that they always share- and the always comical posts that I run across. I believe that since I have admitted to this I can continue on with rambling about what we have been up to this week.
A benefit of being here in Provo is that my little sister is here going to school- and well besides the fact of being able to see her all the time we are also enjoying the benefits of a free babysitter (woohoo) so on Wednesday night Dustin and I enjoyed a date night out! We went and ate at Jason's Deli (our favorite sandwich place in the whole wide world) and then went and test drove our new dream car.Yes it is the Toyota Sequoia. We have been looking at getting different cars- and wanted an SUV we wanted one large enough so that when we bought it we could use it for the next 10 years and not have to worry about outgrowing it or it dieing on us. Needless to say I am in love with this car. The price tag on it...not so much. It might be a while before we can get this car but our honda is just fine with what we need right now.
Another thing that I have been working on and would love help from anyone that has any suggestion is Halle's hair. That girl gets the BIGGEST knot you have ever seen in the back of her hair when we ride in the car. I don't know if we need a different car seat cover or... I am at a loss for words. It seriously looks like she is hiding some furry creature in her hair by the end of the day.
Today we got to drive up to Provo Canyon to see just how pretty it is this time of year. Halle actually enjoyed the ride looking out her window at all the pretty mountains and trees...exclaiming often "wow...big".
It was a great drive, and nice to see such a wonderful change of scenery after being in Bloomington (Indiana has its own set of natural wonders).
Last but not least- I am looking for a good blessing outfit or Christening outfit for little dude. Any suggestions? I am finding it hard to find a cute one for boys.
