Things are going great here- we are less then two weeks out from little dude's arrival and are eager to meet him. My Dr. is being a little bit of a stink, she will only deliver babies on thursdays, so she really really wants to induce me. To start off the new year right, Halle lost her first tooth! This thing was super loose, and ready to pop out! She decided to try my method of loosing teeth and I tied a string around it, she gave it a gentle tug and the thing came flying out! Day three started off a bit slower. Miles knew that since Sugar stayed inside that morning he needed some snuggle time. Right after we opened present at my mother-in-laws house we loaded up and drove to my parents home. (Christmas is a circus for us) we got there and the kids (already warmed up) unwrapped a load of presents there too! Bennett got some new leapster games- a great must for the car ride we had later that day. Our first stop on our Christmas trip was to go to the Gaylord Ice Show up where my Mother-in-law lives. She graciously bought tickets weeks ago and we got to enjoy the Shrek show they had!  This little guy was like a stuffed marshmellow- And only enjoyed it once we were done and he could have a snack. The city we live in has a great hometown Christmas celebration- we went and enjoyed free cookies and hot cocoa/apple juice with Santa! We found out today that we will be adding another BOY to our family on February 14th. On Thursday we went to Gatorland- an Orlando classic. I remember going here when I was little!!  The kids were nervous at first- but realized that this one didn't move. Gatorland was fun, we got to see the gator show where they make them jump in the air (or as much as gators can jump). We also got to walk around the park and see just how many they have in their park...kind of eerie!!

Thursday we hit up the most magical place on earth... and it was fantastic. The best part was that we didn't pay full price (makes you enjoy it that much more). I will give a $$ breakdown later. Sweet Bennett- this little guy turned four on Sep. 7 but we actually celebrate a weekend early (he wasn't too upset). My parents came in town this past weekend to help celebrate Bennett's birthday. We started off by going to the Butterfly museum downtown. Usually it is about $7 per child and $8 per adult. I got a groupon the week before for 4 people to get into the museum for $14 (mom, dad, sis and one of our kids) and since Dustin, Bennett and I have Rice ID's we got in for FREE. Worth every penny to visit.

I went to Chicago this past weekend...with no kids AND had a girlie weekend~ We had so much fun...too much fun I think.  We flew in very late Friday night, and woke up first thing Saturday morning...or around 10am Saturday morning and started the morning off right by shopping. We had Halle's 6th birthday party yesterday morning- it went great! The kids had so much fun swimming together we didn't even get a chance to play any games!  She wanted a "rockstar" birthday cake. In our family we have decided that when our daughter is ready, when she feels like she is ready to become a "big girl" she can get her ears pierced. These past two months Bennett has been involved in a soccer team, and has loved it (great change from Halle's version of soccer). It was so nice and fun- a mom put it together and we met on Friday mornings. THe kids had a 30 minute practice and then a game. While my parents were here we enjoyed a little Dance Party (hilarious) and Band Hero. My all time favorite was watching my mom play the Rolling Stones song over and over and over and over because she was just-this-close to getting it!! Super fun. The boys stayed up WAY too late playing- NIcki and I crashed on the twin bed, and Alex fell asleep on the other side of me. So nice having my sisters

After spending spring break with my family- they decided to follow me back down to Houston! We decided to go to the beach on Friday and had a BLAST. (be jealous, the beach is 45 minutes from our doorstep...which is super close for us) and it was so nice!! We had a blast playing and the kids were exhausted by the time we got home!!

Almost as scary as the movie-- but not quite. My mother-in-law and sister-in-law came in town for the Houston Rodeo and of course had to take the kids to Chuck-e-cheese. The kids had a blast, and we love that family lives so close that they want to come and share the weekend with us!! My mother-in-law even took the older kids back up with her to finish off the weekend!!

We had the opportunity to welcome my sister home from her 18 month mission to Argentina (Roasario). I think I have mentioned that we have a family pass to the Houston Zoo- it is such a great zoo! And the best part is that we live 15 minutes from it! The boys and I have become frequent guests at the zoo, and each time I try picking a certain area to go to...that way we can keep the rotation going!
